Daniel Listmeier Memorial Scholarship

Two $500 awards for Clifton High School ASPIRE students who show determination to reach their goals.

Daniel Listmeier

The Clifton Education Foundation is proud to administer the Daniel Listmeier Memorial Scholarships, available to two students in the Clifton High School ASPIRE program. They honor Danny's commitment to the students the program serves.

Danny, a former custodian in the Clifton High School Annex, was deeply invested in mentoring at-risk youth, providing guidance, friendship, and often financial support. The scholarships, established and funded by his parents Lani and Jerry Pollastro after Danny's untimely death, honor his kind and generous spirit. His family is deeply rooted in the Clifton school community.

Eligibility

  • Must be in Grade 12 and graduating from Clifton High School
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA
  • Attended the ASPIRE Program for at least one full year and exited in good standing
  • Plan to enroll in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program, or a technical school, in the fall after graduation

Two $500 scholarships are awarded annually. Students are evaluated on their determination to succeed, their future goals and plans, and the support of the ASPIRE Program faculty. All eligible ASPIRE students are considered automatically; there is no application. Two students are selected by a committee determined by the ASPIRE program coordinator.
